All summer camp registrations are secured with a $100 non-refundable deposit.
All subsequent payments after the initial deposit are refundable if requests are made in writing and received by email to
[email protected] no later than seven (7) days prior to the start date of the summer camp for the following reasons:
• Sudden Injury
• Significant Illness (including Covid-19 or other communicable diseases)
• Medical Emergency or Unplanned Medical procedure within 7 days prior to start of camp session
• Death of an immediate family member
• Non-medical emergencies related to attendee’s place of residence or safety, such as bodily crime against attendee or immediate family
• Transportation issues such as an inoperable or totaled vehicle, cancelled flight (within 24 hours of start of camp), cancellation of applicable/available public transportation (same day as start of camp)
• Weather-related Events – When severe weather renders reasonable modes of transportation inoperable or dangerous, such as torrential rain and flooding, excessive snow or ice, etc. that result in closed roads, bus terminals, etc.
• Employment-related Events – Relocation, (parent/guardian) forced to work at the date/time of transportation without notice, such as military, police, fire or first responder
• Legal Obligations – in response to a subpoena, summons, or notice served on you after registration.
The following circumstances are not eligible for refund:
• Pre-planned medical appointments/events; elective medical events or rescheduled medical events
• Death of non-relative or non-immediate relative
• Traffic delays; issues with ride-sharing services; fuel/battery charge issues with primary vehicle/mode of transportation
• Seasonal/Normal Weather
• Optional work opportunities
• Legal obligations for which rescheduling opportunities are available.
• Attendee change of mind with regard to attendance/participation
• Recreational family vacation/travel (planned or unplanned)
If the summer camp is cancelled by the Diocese of Beaumont due to impossibility – such as acts of God, war, acts of terrorism, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation facilities – to the extent that such circumstances make it illegal or impossible for the Diocese of Beaumont to provide, or for attendees in general to use, the facilities of Christ Central Camp.
