As the vicar of Christ in the diocese entrusted to his care, the Bishop carries out his threefold ministry as teacher of doctrine, a priest of sacred worship, and a minister of governance. He has all the ordinary, proper, and immediate power required for the exercise of his pastoral office.

As vicar and legate of Christ, the Bishop governs by his counsel, exhortation, and example, as well as by the authority and sacred power which he exercises for the spiritual development of his people.

Cullen, a Beaumont native, is a lover of all things Catholic! Being a cradle Catholic and son of a Youth Minister, he has been involved in the Diocese in many ways for as long as he can remember. He and his wonderful wife of 3 years currently go to St Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches, where he is doing the work that he loves, leading teens closer to Christ as their Youth Minister.

Max Giovanni Medina is a 5th year seminarian for the Diocese of Beaumont, currently on Pastoral Year at both St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica and Cristo Rey in Beaumont. He was born in New Orleans in 1998 to Puerto Rican parents Cris and Maximino Medina but later moved to Beaumont where he graduated Kelly High School in 2016. He obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in the Spring of 2020 before responding to God’s call to enter the seminary, which he started in the fall of 2020. God-willing, Max will be ordained a deacon in the Spring of 2026 and a priest in the Spring of 2027. Max currently studies at St. Vincent De Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, Fl, where he will resume studies in the Fall.

The Night & Day Orchestra is a traditional big band based in Beaumont, Texas offering musical art in the form of the finest American popular music ever written, specifically swing era music, as well as a performance medium for talented musicians who just want to play.

The Night and Day Orchestra is all about the music. They perform the original standards, exerting much effort to obtain the original scores or transcriptions of the original recordings whenever possible. The Night and Day Orchestra’s hope and desire is that they will lend a helping hand to the preservation and appreciation of this great American music that is so closely tied to America's art-form.... jazz!
